Kinnaur, tribal district of Himachal Pradesh; Lahaul & Spiti - two remote Himalayan Valleys have recently been opened to the foreign tourist. the route Simla-Manali lies in difficult terrain, rough road and inclement weather conditions passing over the highest pass - Kunzum - 4800 mt. and Kibber village - 4550 mt. Kinnaur lies in the lap of high Himalayan mountainous rugged and rough terrain which has fascination and beauty of its own. Lahaul and Spiti, lying on
the Indo-Tibet border, strange, exciting, primitive, these valleys are unserpasses in mountain scape, in the rugged beauty of their rocks escapements & the splendour of their snow covered peaks. Lahaul is also a fascinating area for Buddhist art and culture. The monasteries of Lahaul-Spiti are rich in murals,
thankas, wood carvings and golden image of Padmasambhava.

 DELHI /SHIMLADAY 1
Morning, drive to Shimla - The old British Summer capital of India, Shimla was first discovered by the
British in 1819, but it was not until 1822 that the first permanent house was erected. Arrive and check
in at hotel. After lunch free, Take astroll down the Mall or just relax. Dinner & Overnight stay in hotel.
  AT SHIMLADAY 2
Morning after breakfast, sightseeing tour of Shimla visiting the State Museum, which has some
modest collection of stone statues from different parts of Himachal Pradesh. Also, visit the Jakhu
temple, dedicated to the Monkey god-Hanuman. This temple is at an altitude of 2455 meters.
Return to hotel for lunch. Afternoon free. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
 SHIMLA/ SAHARAN/ SANGLADAY 3
Early morning after breakfast, depart for the 235 kms trip to Sangla Valley. The drive via Sarahan
takes about 8 hrs to reach Sangla. Enroute brief stop to visit the Bhimkali Temple. Arrive Sangla-
renowned for its beauty with cedar wood forests and is dominated by the Kinner Kailash peak (6194M)
One can take gentle nature walks around the camp or take a short trek to Kumru Fort - 3 kms from
main Sangla town or just relax to enjoy the breath taking alpine views. Overnight stay in camps.
 SANGLA/ NAKODAY 4
Morning, after breakfast depart for Nako. The 138 kms drive takes about 6 hrs to reach Nako.
From the valley of sutluj you go upto the confluence of Sutluj on Spiti. Nako is the largest village
in the Hangrang valley. Overnight camp near the Nako Lake.
 NAKO/ KAZADAY 5
Morning, after breakfast the 122 kms drive to Kaza takes about 7 hrs. Enroute visit the famous
monastery of Tabo (3050M), on the bank of river spiti, is flanked on the either side by the lofty hills.
It is the seat of the  famous Buddhist Gompa regarded, next to Tholling Gompa in Tibet. It is also
known as the Ajanta of the Himalayas, because of its rare paintings. Overnight camp at Kaza.
AT KAZADAY 6
Morning after breakfast, Day Free to explore and individual activities.
Lunch ,Dinner & Overnight in camps.
KAZA/BATAL DAY 7
Early morning, visit the Ki monastery (4116M), which is the oldest and the biggest Gompa
dominating the Ki village. Around 300 Lamas receive their religious training here. You will find
some beautiful paintings and scriptures of Buddha and other Gods and Goddesses. Continue our drive
towards to Kibber village (4400 M/9 kms) the highest village in the world.  Here you can interact with
the local people. Later drive to Batal (3960 M) via Kunzum pass (4551 M).
Arrive Batal in the evening. Dinner & Overnight stay in tent.
BATAL/JISPA DAY 8
Morning after breakfast start safari to reach Jispa (3142 M) stop just after Batal to photograph
Bara Shigri Glacier (3657 M). En-route visit Khardong Monastery at Keylong (3350 M). Keylong is an
"Oasis of greenfields". Reach Jispa in the evening and camp beside river Bhaga for overnight stay.
JISPA/ SARCHU DAY 9
Morning after breakfast continue the jeep safari to Sarchu (4253 M) via Baralacha pass (4892 M).
The word Baralacha means "A pass with cross road". The pass has roads coming from Zanskar,
Ladakh, Spiti and Lahaul. Stop for photographs at "Suraj Tal" (4800 M) a Serene Lake and source
of river Bhaga reach Sarchu in the evening and overnight stay in the tents
SARCHU/ LEH  DAY 10
 Morning after breakfast start safari to reach Leh (3523 M) via Kyungshu plains stretched along
the road for 45 kms. Here the sheep like animal Kyung could be seen. En-route stop for a while at
Lachulang-La (5065 M) and Tanglang-La (5360 M) the 2nd highest pass in the world with
metalled road. Arrive and check into the hotel for overnight stay.
LEH DAY 11
Morning after breakfast visit local handicraft market. After lunch visit Spituk and Phyang Gompas
Evening witness a Ladakhi Cultural show. Return to hotel for dinner & overnight in hotel
LEHDAY 12
Morning after breakfast, proceed for Full day monestary tour with guide and picnic lunch to
Shey /Thiksey & Hemis Monastery's. Return to hotel for Dinner & overnight in hotel
LEH/ DELHIDAY 13
  Morning after breakfast, at leisure till time for transfer to airport to connect flight to Delhi.
You have the option of extending your stay in Delhi and visit Agra & Jaipur
