and Chairs are classic and handcrafted in traditional style besides the staff members dressed in local dress, gives
the feel of a Kerala Heritage home. A "Kalithattu" or open air theatre in-front of Keraleeyam, periodically stages folk art-
forms. The property is so exclusive that it accommodates only 11 people at a time. The environment is green, healthy
and unblemished by pollution or other evils of modernisation. Their villages with its traditional tiled houses,
temples, canals, simple and friendly people offers an unique experience to the visitor.

FOOD
Keraleeyam serves traditional Kerala food in befitting style. Dining is furnished in traditional ambience. Food
served in Plantain leaves is an experience you can have nowhere else.Kerala rice and spicy curries offer a mouth watering delicacy.Vegetarian and non- vegetarian menu options are available. Choice of Chinese and Continental cuisine is also available. Fresh water fishes like "Karimeen" (Pearl spot), Tiger Prawn and Lobster add variety to the menu. Traditional breakfast
of "Puttu" (steamed rice cake with grated coconut prepared in bamboo shells) Kadala and Pappadam offers a lingering taste

Keraleeyam houseboat is a converted traditional wooden cruise boat with a bright and lively open
living area, two comfortable air-conditioned bedrooms, a neat and tidy kitchen, and an experienced personal chef.
It is made entirely with eco friendly materials like wood, coir and bamboo. The boat from a distance looks like a
large floating thatched cottage. The sunbath deck offers a passing view of the rustic lifestyle of the locals. The
climate in Kerala is moderate and comfortable round the year. All along the cruise, living villages will be passing by.
The houseboat is anchored overnight. The floating air - conditioned bedrooms offer you complete peace and calm
