well as for Cultual Heritage. This North India Tour starts with a sightseeing of capital city of India, Delhi. From Delhi we move to Jaipur and have the
Royal Experience of Amber Fort. Jaipur is followed by a trip to Agra via the red sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri. Our next stop will be Khajuraho
where the temples walls are adorned with erotic sculptures. Apart from the carvings and temples the surrounding of the place is delighting. We leave
Khajuraho for Varanasi which is one of the holiest place in India. We end our tour with a visit to Lucknow, the city of Nawabs, before returning back
to our base in Delhi. You will explore various ancient & modern monuments, a rich legacy & a facinating past
with a cultural heritage that dates back to time immemorial.

DAY 01 ARRIVE DELHI
You are greeted on arrival at the Delhi International Airport and driven to Hotel. Afternoon proceed for half day
guided city tour of New Delhi. The buildings designed by Edward Lutyens, architect of modern Delhi - are
truly majestic. The Presidential Palace, Parliament House and India Gate are all reminiscent of the British
“Raj”. We drive through Delhi’s beautiful tree-lined avenues and the Diplomatic Enclave enroute to the
12th century, 234 foot high fluted minaret  of  Qutab Minar.  Return to hotel for dinner & Overnight
DAY 02 DELHI > JAIPUR
Morning after breakfast, depart by surface for the Pink City of Jaipur. A 4 hours drive gets us to the land of
Maharaja's, forts & Plalaces and diversity of colours & culture, that is unique to the State of Rajasthan.
Enroute just 12 kms short of Jaipur stands the mejestic Amber fort. Ride on a elephant to ascend to the
gates of this fort located on top of a hill, visit Kali Temple, and the hall of mirrors, before returning to your
waiting vehicle to drive you onwards to your hotel in Jaipur. On arrival checkin. Afternoon sightseeing of
the city palace, palace museum, the observatory, Hawa Mahal ( Palace of winds). Walk thru the gem,
textiles, handicarft market, before returning to your hotel for dinner & overnight.
DAY 03 JAIPUR > FATHEPUR SIKRI > AGRA
Morning after breakfast, depart by surface for the Mughal splendour of Agra, enroute visiting Fathepur Sikri
the ghost city 35 kms from Agra. Fatehpur Sikri built in red sandstone in honour of Saint Salim Chisti, who foretold
the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Each important
edifice here represents a type by itself. Notable among them is the Diwane Khas, Punch Mahal, the Tomb of
Salim Chisti, and the Buland Darwaza. Drive on to Agra and check-in to the hotel. Later visit the incomparable
Taj Mahal. This monument a fine example of fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the
modern world. Built in 1652 by Emperor Shah Jahan. It took 22 years and 20,000 skilled artisans to complete
this poem in white marble. Afternoon visit Agra Fort which lies across the river Jamuna. It was here
that Aurangzeb the third son of Shah Jahan kept his father under house arrest. One can get the most
moving view of the Taj from the little octagonal tower in the Fort.  Dinner & Overnight at hotel.
DAY 04 AGRA > KAJURAHO
Morning after breakfast, transfer to airport to connect flight to Khajuraho. Upon arrival transfer to hotel.
Khajuraho the religious and political capital of the Chandela Dynasty during the 9th to 13th centuries.
Although once a splendid city, today Khajuraho is best known for its amazing tantric temples built in the
graceful Nagara style of architecture and enveloped with erotic sculptures- the oldest site of its kind
in the world. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and Overnight at hotel
DAY 05 KAJURAHO 
Morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing of the temples. The eastern temples noted for their exquisitely
carved sculptures. The shrines of buff colored sandstone stand on high terraces, and every square inch of surface
is covered with detailed sculptures depicting humans and divine celestials indulging in literally every aspect of
every day life. The western group of temples containing the largest and loveliest temples, including Kandariya
Mahadev which represents Chandela art at its best. Afternoon free. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
DAY 06 KAJURAHO > VARANASI
Morning after breakfast transfer to the airport to connect your flight for Varanasi. Varanasi or Kasi as it was
called in the 7th century BC means 'Divine Light', is the most sacred pilgrimage centre for the Hindus.
It can aptly be called the 'Light of India'. The city is dedicated to Shiva. Enroute visit Sarnath - where
Bhuddhism first made its appearance nearly 2500 years ago and where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon
to his 5 disciples. Visit the Chowkhandi Stupa, the 46m high Dhamek stupa & Dharmarajik stupa built by
Emperor Ashok around 258 BC. See the 20m high Ashok Pillar which still exists today before contunuing
onwards to your hotel for check in. Balance day free. Dinner and Overnight at hotel
DAY 07 VARANASI
An early morning transfer to the Ghats to take a boat ride presents an incredible scene as the multitudes of
devotees come to the river to pay homage to the Sun God. Pass the bathing ghats where thousands of pilgrims
immerse themselves in the holy water of the Ganges River, and the burning ghats where cremations are
conducted. Say Hello!! to Sunrise, before returning to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for half
day city tour of this very ancient town, situated on the banks of river Ganges, in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
Visit the Ramnagar Fort, Benaras Hindu University campus & the temples of Bharat Mata, Kashi Viswanath &
Durga Mata. Walk around the narrow bylanes near the ghats, before returning to hotel. Afternoon visit the
Archaeological Museum - It has the Ashokan symbol of four back-to-back lions which has been adopted
as the state symbol of modern India. Other finds from the site include many figures and sculptures from the
various periods of Saranath - Mauryan, Kushana, Gupta and later. Among them is the earliest Buddha
image found at Sarnath, Buddha figures in various positions dating back to the 5th and 6th centuries, and
many images of Hindu gods such as Saraswati, Ganesh and Vishnu from the 9th to 12th centuries
Evening take a boat ride to see sunset, before returning to hotel for Dinner & Overnight
DAY 08 VARANASI > LUCKNOW
Morning after breakfast, depart by surface for Lucknow ((286 Kms.), the city of Nawabs nestling on the banks
of the river Gomti, is a modern, bustling metropolis and serves as the capital of the large north Indian state of
Uttar Pradesh. The creator of Lucknow was Nawab Asaf ud Daula. The city became known as a centre for
Urdu poetry and courtly diction, and reached its acme during the reign of Wajid Ali Shah who was a connoisseur
of music and poetry. It was during his reign that the British appropriated Awadh. Today, the city is dotted with
remnants of its rich historic past. Arrive by lunch and check into hotel. Balance day at leisure. Dinner & Overnight
DAY 09 LUCKNOW > DELHI
Morning after breakfast, half day city tour of Lucknow-abounds with lovely monuments that tell the story of
their time. Among the most important monuments are the Imambadas, the many mosques, the Roomi Darwaza,
and the many splendid Mughal architectural marvels. You visit Bada Imambara- an elegant building with
a main hall (50fts) is the largest vaulted apartment in the world, Chotta Imambara, the Residency, Hausainabad
Kaiserbagh Palace Complex, Clock Tower & market famous for its gold /silver brocades and silverware,
Juma Masjid and the Museum. Afternoon transfer to railway station to board superfast train to Delhi.
Dinner on board the train. Later on arrival at 1020 hrs, transfer to Hotel. Overnight in hotel
DAY 10 DELHI
Morning after breakfast, proceed for half day guided city tour of Old Delhi. Explore the magnificent Red Fort,
built at the zennith of the Mughal empire in India. The centuries- old international market- place that sprawls
at its feet is still one of Delhi’s most important commercial hubs: Chandni Chowk, or “Moonlight Square”.
Ride on cycle-rickshaws through the bustling silver market and the wholesale spice market. The sounds, smells
and colors of  the bazaar, and the throngs of people who animate it makes this an unforgettable spectacle.
Visit Jumma Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia., before returning to hotel. Afternoon free to explore the exotic
markets, boutiques and art galeries of Delhi. (Vehicle with driver at disposal) Dinner & Overnight in hotel
DAY 11 DEPART DELHI
In time transfer to International airport to connect flight for onward destination
