and is home to its finest forts and palaces. The magnificent Jai Mahal Palace, the idyllic Lake Palace and the secluded Mandawa Castle
are just some of the regal settings in which you will be treated like a maharaja. The forts at Jodhpur and Chittor encapsulate the romance
and chivalry of India's powerful Rajput Kings, while at the ancient capital of Amber an ascent on elephant-back recreates the majesty of
a bygone era. Unique fresco styles and intricate miniature paintings adorn the Rajasthani palaces which were once inhabited by the most flamboyant ruling dynasties. While relaxing in the royal palaces, this tour rediscovers the majesty of this " Land of the Kings".

on account of security restrictions. It is the seat of the Indian Parliament. India Gate-This solemn monument was built in memory
of the 90,000 Indian soldiers who died in World War I. It was built in 1931. Within the Connaught Place area is the Jantar Mantar
observatory built by the Rajput king of Jaipur, Sawai Jai Singh in 1724. It was believed to have been built with masonry instruments
for observing the movements of the stars and the planets. Purana Quila -In 1538, Mughal emperor Humayun, laid the foundations

DAY 02 DELHI > AGRA
Morning after breakfast, depart by surface for the Mughal splendour of Agra - City of Taj . On arrival check into AMAR hotel.
Afternoon visit Agra Fort which lies across river Jamuna. The fort's colossal double walls rise 20 meters in height and measure
2.5 kilometers in circumference. Typical of forts of Mogul era, Agra Fort is surrounded by a moat. The fort looks intimidating
because of its lofty battlements that overlook the far stretching mansions of nobles and princes built along the riverfront.
Another significant structure is the dominating gateway that is surrounded by the magnificent towers, bastions and ramparts.
The fort contains some of the most magnificent and subtle palaces both in red sandstone and white marble that has been built
by two generations of prolific builders; Akbar and later on by Jahangir and Shah Jahan. It was here that Aurangzeb the 3rd son
of Shah Jahan kept his father under house arrest. Itmad-ud-daula built in the year 1628AD has a special place in the chronicles
of both history as well as architecture. This is precisely because Itmad ud Daula is the very first tomb in India that is entirely
made out of Marble. This is actually a mausoleum that overlooks the River Yamuna and is the tomb of Mir Ghiyas Beg, Queen
Noor Jahan's father and an high ranking minister in the court of Shah Jahan. While Sikandra lying 10 kms north west of Agra,
is the final resting place of Emperor Akbar. The Tomb shows an interesting fusion of Hindu and Mughal architecture reflecting
the spirit of the Emperor. Akbar began the construction of his own garden mausoleum during his lifetime, a red sandstone
structure in a char-bagh meaning 4-square formal garden. Return to hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.
DAY 03 AGRA - FATHEPUR -SIKRI - MADHOGARH
Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit the incomparable Taj Mahal. This monument a fine example of fusion of many
architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world. Built in 1652 by Emperor Shah Jahan. It took 22 years & 20,000
skilled artisans to complete this poem in white marble. Planning and construction for the Taj started in 1634 and continued for over
two decades. The Taj has been constructed on a 313 square feet marble platform that stands above a sandstone one. The tomb is
encased in pure white marble brought in from Makrana (in Rajasthan) and Persia (present day Iran). The walls are decorated with
flawless sculptures and inlaid design of flowers and calligraphy cut from precious gems. The dome is made of white marble, but the
tomb is set against the plain across the river and it is this background that works its magic of colors that, through their reflection,
change the view of the Taj. After sightseeing depart by surface for Madhogarh. Enroute stopping to visit Fathepur Sikri the
ghost city 35 kms from Agra. This sprawling structure is made of red sandstone and combines both Hindu and Mughal architecture
and was the political capital of  the Mughal Empire under Akbar's  reign, from 1571 until 1585 AD, when it was abandoned, ostensibly
due to lack of water. Sikri shared its imperial duties as a capital city with Agra, where a bulk of the arsenal, treasure hoards and other
reserves were kept at its Red (Agra) Fort for security. During a crisis, the court, harem, and treasury could be removed to Agra, only
26 miles away, less than a day's march. Visit Sufi saint Salim Chisti's marble tomb. Built in his honor in 1571AD by Mughal emperor
Akbar because he foretold the birth of 3 sons to the Emperor, it is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Each
important edifice in this fort represents a type by itself. Notable among them are the Diwane Khas, Punch Mahal and Buland
Darwaza. After sightseeing, drive on to Madhogarh and on arrival check into FORT MADHOGRAH Hotel for overnight stay.

wonders that attract tourists from all over the country and abroad. Visit the City Palace & Museum, a beautiful landmark that was
built by the Kachchwah Rajput rulers of Jaipur. The palace is a classic example of Mughal and Rajput architecture. A part of the
palace today houses a museum that holds a collection of rare manuscripts, weapons, Mughal carpets and costumes, and Mughal
and Rajasthani miniatures. The Jai Singh's observatory or Jantar Mantar as it is called, makes another wonderful sight to visit. Built
in 1718 AD by Sawai Jai Singh, Jantar Mantar Observatory is one of the five observatories that were built by the king. The observatory
was built to study the movement of stars and is built in stone and marble. Hawa Mahal ( Palace of winds) It  is one of the most common
and popular tourist attractions in Jaipur. It was basically used as a veil by the royal women folk to watch the proceedings on the road
below. On return visit one of the oldest and the most famous Museum in Jaipur - The Albert Hall Museum located in the Ramnivas
Gardens was constructed under the supervision of a British Army officer, Lt. Swinton Jacob in the year 1876. Maharaja Ram Singh,
who was then the king of Jaipur, wanted this building to be used as the town hall but his successor Madho Singh decided to convert
the building to an art museum. The Museum not only houses many rarities and beautiful objects but its own building is also a sight
to behold. The Museum is in the Albert Hall and is inspired by the Indo-Sarcenic style of architecture, which uses the best features
of both styles of building. It has many pillars, courtyards and arches that give it a very traditional yet elegant look. It has an extensive collection of jewelry, metalwork and sculpture. There are also many objects made of brass, which display the skills of the expert hands
that have chiseled them to perfection, besides miniature paintings from the Udaipur, Jaipur, Bundi, Kota and the Kishangarh schools
of painting. There are also fine specimens of woodwork. One can also see the old traditional ceremonial dresses of the Kings and
the royal families besides a whole lot of pottery objects, painting and sculptures. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in hotel

Jaipur, Amber Fort was built by Raja Man Singh in the 16th century and was completed by Sawai Jai Singh in the 18th century. The
fort offers magnificent views of the surrounding area. Built with white marble and red sandstone, the exterior of the Fort is not in the
least like its interiors. The outside is very imposing and rugged looking whereas the inside is a comforting and warm interior which
is influenced by both Hindu and Muslim style of ornamentation. On the walls, are paintings depicting various hunting scenes, and
there is also a lot of work on walls, which are covered with intricate carving, mosaic and minute mirror work that make the halls look
very majestic and imperial. The fort is a mix of Mughal and Rajput architecture and is built in red stone and white marble. Next visit
the imposing Jaigarh Fort. Also called the Victory Fort, the Fort stands in the midst of thorn-scrub hills that impart a sterner look
to the already forbidding Fort. As one approaches the fort from the steep road that leads to the main gate, the Dungar Darwaza, one
