DAY 01

ARRIVE DELHI

On arrival you will be met by our representative and transfered to Hotel Qutab. Afternoon half day city tour of
New Delhi. Visit the Parliament house & Presidents Palace, visit India Gate, Humayun's tomb, lotus temple,
Qutab Minar & a Modern Hindu temple. Evening free. Dinner & Overnight in Hotel

DAY 02

DELHI > LEH

Early morning after breakfast, transfer to domestic airport to board flight at 0540 hrs for Leh. On arrival at Leh airport,
you will be met by our representative and escorted transfer to Hotel. Complete day for acclimatization. In the
evening take a stroll in and around Leh bazaar. Return to hotel for Dinner & Overnight

DAY 03

AT LEH

This morning after breakfast half day tour of Spituk on a hilltop above the Indus River, 8 km from Leh and the
same was built in 15th century and Phyang monastery. In time back to hotel for hot lunch. In the afternoon visit
to Shanker Gompa, King's Palace and Leh mosque on foot. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 04

LEH > STOK > STOKLA ( 3 hrs)

Leave after early morning breakfast by Jeeps and reach Stok. On arrival visit the Gompa and museum where
the last king of Ladakh died in 1974. Start trek and after passing off Stok village, following the left bank of the
river for about two hours, you climb gently leaving a small pass on the left, continuing into a small
valley, called the foot of Stokla. Pitch camps. Dinner & Overnight in Tents.

DAY 05

STOKLA > YURUTSE ( 6/ 7 hrs)

Morning after breakfast, start trek. After bypassing this beautiful valley, ascent upto Stokla 4900 Mtrs. by very
steep zigzag, difficult footpath, time taken approx 3 Hrs. Now steep descent to summer pastures of Stok and
follow the river which comes from Stok – Kangri massif. Arrive Yurutse for Dinner and overnight in Tents.

DAY 06

YURUTSE > GANDALA - SKIU ( 6/ 7 hrs)

Morning after breakfast, start trek. Follow a path along the mountain side, crossing over to a small valley following
a zig zag & steep path. Thereafter cross Gandala. Then long descent towards Shingo. After 2 Hrs. descent arrive in
the valley of Markha and a few hundred meters further you reach camp site at Skiu. Dinner and overnight in Tents

DAY 07

SKIU > CHALUK > MARKHA VALLEY ( 7 hrs)

Morning after breakfast, start trek. Follow a good path on the Right Bank of Markha where one can find great
vegetation. Next cross the Right Bank of river and trek through barren plains before arriving at Chaluk. Thereafter
walk along the left bank of river and after another crossing, start climb towards Markha village. Camping beyond
the village and near riverside. A long tiring day today. Dinner and overnight in Tents.

DAY 08

MARKHA VALLEY > HANKAR > TCHATCHUSTE ( 6/ 7 hrs)

Morning after breakfast, Start trek towards the main valley on the right bank. The path is sometimes difficult in the river
bed. Visit the monastery of Humlung enroute. Then carry on trek along the right bank and arrive in Hankar where
there are several houses. The paths improves and crosses a broad valley on the right side. The valley becomes narrow
and higher and after crossing the bridges on the left bank of the river, you reach Tchatchuste. Overnight in Tents

DAY 09

TCHATCHUSTE > NIMALING ( 3 hrs)

Morning after breakfast, start trek.Trek starts on good path but with several small inclines. The river is rather far to the
other side and walk near a small lake, then cross pasture to Nimaling. This is one of most beautiful high valleys in Ladakh
dominated by the Kang Yaze. Trek ascent towards other side and gradually reach Nimaling. Overnight in Tents.

DAY 10

NIMALING > KNOGMARULA > SHANG ( 8 hrs)

Morning after breakfast, start trek. Cross the Markha valley- A long climb along the mountainside, followed by
zig zag road leading towards Kongmarula. Follow steep descent into gorges and then keep walking on the left
bank to Chukirmo. Thereafter crossing right and left bank to arrive at Shang Village outskirts, a beautiful camp in
groves and there is a monastery an hour away from the village. Overnight in tents.

DAY 11

SHANG > HEMIS > LEH ( 4 hrs)

Morning after breakfast, Trek starts from the riverbed, then follow a good path through large blocks and then
turns towards the left bank. You reach a dusty trail suitable for motor vehicles and then pass a small house and
series of Chortens. Leave Martsellang on the right and follow a gently rising trail towards Hemis. Visit Hemis
monastery followed by a visit to the Shey and Thiksey monastery, before contunuing drive to Leh. Later on
arrival check into hotel Evening free. Dinner & Overnight in hotel

DAY 17

LEH > DELHI

Morning after breakfast, in time transfer to the airport to board flight at 0735 hrs for Delhi. Later on arrival
at 0850 hrs, you will be met by our representative and transfered to Hotel Qutab. Afternoon half day city tour of
Old Delhi, visiting Red fort, the Jumma Masjid and Chandni Chowk. Return to hotel via the memorial of Mahatma
Gandhi at Raj Ghat. Balance day at leisure. Overnight in Hotel.

DAY 18

DEPART DELHI

In time transfer to International airport to connect flight for onward journey.
You have the option of extending your stay in Delhi and visit Agra & Jaipur
