DAY 01 ARRIVE PARO (mondays & thrusdays)
Arrive into Paro from Delhi or Kolkatta. The flight offers you beautiful mountain and landscape.
On arrival and after visa formalities you will be received by our associate agents and transfered
to Kichu Resort. Afternoon / evening time at leisure. Overnight Kichu Resort
DAY 02 AT PARO 
Morning after breakfast, depart for Paro Sightseeing - visit the ruined fortress of Drugyel dzong,
Ta-Dzong, Rinpung Dzong which serves as the administrative center and school for monks. Walk
further down crossing the traditional bridge into Paro Town. Stroll around the market and
return to Kichu Resort. Evening at leisure. Overnight in the resort.
DAY 03 PARO > THIMPU
Morning after breakfast, drive to Thimphu for sightseeing in Thimphu - Visit the Memorial chorten
built in the memory of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, 15 century Changangkha monastery,
Motithang mini zoo to see the rare "Takin" national animal of Bhutan and drive further down with
good view of the Thimphu valley. Free time in the market. Overnight in Hotel Druk/River View
DAY 04 THIMPU
Morning after breakfast, visit the Painting school, National library, Royal goldsmith workshop and
Handicraft centers. Return to hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight Hotel Druk or River View
DAY 05 THIMPU > WANGDUEPHODRANG
Morning after breakfast, drive 3 hours to Wangduephodrang crossing the Dochula pass 3100 meters.
On fine weather you will see the eastern Himalayan ranges including the highest mountain in Bhutan
Mt.Gangar Punsum 7520 meters. The drive from the pass is all the way downhill dropping to the lower
and warmer valleys of lobesa. Visit the Wangduephodrang Dzong from outside and the market area.
before returning to resort. Evening free .Overnight at Wangdi Kichu Resort
DAY 06 WANGDUEPHODRANG > GANGTEY VALLEY > WANGDUEPHODRANG
Morning after breakfast, Day excursion to the Gangtey Gompa valley at an altitude of 2800 meters.
This beautiful valley is also home to the rare Black Necked Cranes migrating from the Tibetan plateau
to escape the harsh winter. Explore the fascinating glacier valley. Overnight in Wangdi Kichu Resort
DAY 07 WANGDUEPHODRANG > PUNAKHA DZONG > PARO 
.Morning after breakfast, drive 45 minutes to Punakha and visit the Punakha Dzong From there drive
3 hours to Thimphu for lunch and proceed onwards another 2 hours to Paro after visiting the oldest
building in Bhutan, the Simtokha Dzong. It now serves as a Buddhist university. Overnight Kichu Resort
DAY 08 DEPART PARO (mondays & thrusdays)
Morning after breakfast, time at leisure, till transfer to airport to connect your outward journey flight

Accommodation AT ALL PLACES is of  basic standard as there are no star category hotels presently.
Indian tourists are categorised differently from other International tourists. Indian Nationals do not require a Visa and are not
subject to the fixed daily tariff made by Dept of Tourism. Please be informed that all passengers travelling to Bhutan via Nepal will
require valid passports (Passenger travelling from India can produce any form of identity card)
Druk Air is the only airline that serves Bhutan, so most visitors to Bhutan are introduced to the kingdom in its care. Druk Air flies from the following
cities: Calcutta, Delhi, Dhaka, Bankok and Kathmandu. Delays do occur on account of the changeable Himalayan weather so travelers are advised
to keep an extra day onto the end of their trips in case of hold-ups. Confirmation of travel during festival seasons (March, April, September, October)
must be made at least three to four months in advance to ensure seats with the airline. The aircraft has a seating capacity of 72 only
