Cambodia, country in Southeast Asia, also known as Kâmpuchéa. More than a thousand years ago, Cambodia
was the center of the Khmer (Cambodian) kingdom of Angkor, a great empire that dominated Southeast Asia for 600 years.
A monarchy since ancient times, Cambodia was a French protectorate from 1863 to 1953. A republic replaced the monarchy
in 1970, and in 1975 a Communist regime known as the Khmer Rouge took power, naming the country Democratic Kâmpuchéa.
The Khmer Rouge's brutal repression and radical socialist reforms devastated Cambodia's society and economy. In 1979
anti-Khmer Rouge Communist forces from Vietnam and Cambodia overthrew the Khmer Rouge and established a more
moderate socialist state. In 1989 the country abandoned socialism, and in 1993 a new constitution restored the monarchy. Cambodia's official name is the Kingdom of Cambodia. Cambodia is bounded on the northeast by Laos, on the east and
southeast by Vietnam, on the west and northwest by Thailand, & on the southwest by the Gulf of Thailand (Siam).
The country's capital and largest city is Phnom Penh.

Angkor Wat - Built to honor the Hindu god Vishnu, is the world's largest religious building and took some 50,000 artisans,
workers and slaves, and nearly 40 years, to complete. The temple forms a rectangular enclosure measuring 1,500 metres by
1,300 metres surrounded by a moat 200 metres wide. The main entryway to Angkor Wat is a paved avenue nearly half a km
long, ornamented with balustrades and fringed by artificial lakes. Inside the outer walls, the structure rises over three levels to
a central core topped by five almost pineapple-shaped towers. Virtually every surface in the maze of chambers and courtyards
is richly decorated with low-relief scenes of legends, wars and everyday life, enhanced by carvings of nearly 2,000 apsaras,
or celestial dancers. The amazing structure as a whole is best viewed in soft light. Somerset Maugham wrote in 1930:
"It needs the glow of sunset or the white brilliance of the moon to give it a loveliness that touches the heart."

	1045hrs	Change buses and continue by local aircon transportation to Srisophon (60 Kms)
	1200hrs	Arrive Srisophon. Lunch at restaurant( Thai Lunch).Continue transfer to  Siem Reap (90Kms)
	1545hrs	Arrive Siem Reap & check into selected hotel.
	1630hrs	Visit South-Gate of Angkor Thom and see sunset at Phnom Bakheng.  Rubber shoes required to walk up the hill.
	1900hrs	Dinner at local restaurant & overnight in selected hotel
DAY 2	0700hrs	Breakfast at hotel
	0800hrs	Departure for full day tour at Angkor Area, Visit Banteay Srei, Taphrom, Angkor Thom-bayan and the world famous Temple of Angkor Wat.  Lunch at local restaurant.Return to hotel.
	1900hrs	Dinner with Apsara Show at local restaurant. Overnight at your selected hotel.
DAY 3	0700hrs	Breakfast at hotel
	0800hrs	Visit the old market for shopping before transfer to Srisophan
	1000hrs	Arrive Srisophan. have lunch at local restaurant
	1300hrs	Depart by aircon coach for Paipet.
	1500hrs	Arrive Paipet, where your representative will walk you across the border  and assist in Visa & passport formalities.
	1700hrs	Change buses and continue to Bangkok(300kms)
	2030hrs	Arrive Bangkok,drop at Ho-Wang main Road

CANCELLATION APPLICABLE AS FOLLOWS If notification of cancellation is received onworking days (not including Sat, Sun &  Public holidays) prior to check-in date,cancellation charges will be as follows: 09days or more - Rs 800/- per adult / child 08-05days -65% of  the Security deposit  04 days or less- 100% of  the security deposit
