Roads connect Shimla capital city of Himachal with other places in the state as well as other major towns and cities. There is regular bus service from Delhi and Chandigarh as well as ordinary, semi deluxe, deluxe and AC coaches for Shimla are available too. Churdar is connected by road to Kalka and onwards to camp - 53 kms from Solan or 93 kms from Kalka on the Solan – Haripur Dhar road. |

Nearest railhead is Kalka. onwards by road 93 Kms to Camp Site. Kalka is connected to major cities like Howrah, Mumbai, Delhi & Lucknow by rail. Shimla has a narrow gauge railway line on which toy train runs from Kalka to Shimla. The train cruises its way through valleys and beautiful landscapes at a very slow pace making the journey very pleasant. |

Kms away is Renuka lake connected by road and lies in Sirmaur district.
With a circumference of
3214 m, Renuka is the largest natural lake in Himachal. Shaped like the profile of a reclining woman, this is regarded as the embodiment of the goddess Renuka. Near the lake's feet is another lake held sacred to her son, Parshurama. Both have temples built around them and the main temple to Renuka is regarded to have been built overnight in the eighteenth century. |

| PAONTA SAHIB | This
site was Guru Gobind Singh’s home for four years and it was here that he
wrote the Dasam Granth.
Within its precincts are the Sri Tlab Asthan where he dibursed salaries and and the Sri Dastar Asthan were he judged the turban trying competitions. At the Kavi darbar Asthan , poetic symposia were held. There is also a memorial to Kalpi Rishi and a museum that displays pens of the Guru and weapons of the time. |
| CHURDAR SANCTUARY | Churdhar
peak, with height of 3647 metres is the highestpeak in outer Himalayas.It
is like a Oasis of Alpine area in a ocean of temperate forests.This is
an excellent area for trekking during summer and early winters. The view
from Churdhar peak is un-paralled. One is sure to come across a large number
of multicoloured and agile Monals in the adjoining forests. Trekking from Nohra, Sarain and Pulbahal is tough but enjoyable. There is also a Sarai and a Shiv Temple |
