also as Peo is 260 km from Shimla and 7 km from Powari. Recong Peo is the
Headquarters of the
district located at the altitude of 2670 meters. It has a fine view of Kinner Kailash. |
| KALPA | The main village of the district 14km from Powari connected by link road and 84 km from Rampur situated at the height of 2759 meters.The spectacular view of Kinner Kailash ranges can be seen from here. They are a spetacular sight early in the morning, as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light. |

km from Powari. This village is well known for the orchards of apricot.
Moorang is situated at an altitude
of 2276 meters. The village is encircled by high mountains on three side except west side. There is an ancient fort in the Moorang which is believed to have been built by Pandavas. |
| RAMPUR | was once the capital of the princely state of Bushair and major centre on the old trade route of the Tibet.
