DAY 1 : ARRIVE MANALI > SOLONG VALLEY
Arrival
at MANALI and transfer to SOLANG VALLEY SKI HUT. Basic introduction
of the various Ski Equipment
and
the area. At night skiing video show. Lunch, Dinner & Overnight in
Ski hut
DAY 2 : AT SOLANG VALLEY
After
breakfast,we start with basic ski lessons down the alpine slopes Comprising
of making BALANCE ON SKI,
SNOW
PLOUGH AND SLIDING DOWN THE GENTLE SLOPES (DOWN HILL). Return to the hut
for hot lunch. Spend
the
afternoon skiing to your hearts content. When you come back hot tea is
served and after some time
there
is video film on skiing. Dinner is served around 8 O’clock. Overnight.

DAY 3 : AT SOLANG VALLEY
After
breakfast, almost repetition of the first day’s activities in the morning
session after breakfast, afternoon
session
comprises of lessons on SNOW PLOUGH TURNS. At night film on various adventures
sports such as
MOUNTAIN
CLIMBING, SNOW BOARDING. Dinner is served at the usual time. Overnight
in Ski Hut
DAY 4 : AT SOLANG VALLEY
After
Breakfast,a great deal of fun in the morning session comprises of repetition
of various techniques of skiing
learnt
so far in order to establish more control. In afternoon walk to the nearby
village or go trekking on snow.
Those
who feel like skiing can get on with it. Dinner and at night movie show.Overnight
in Ski hut
DAY 5 : SOLANG VALLEY > MANALI > SOLONG VALLEY
After
breakfast,In the morning session lessons on SREM AND PARALLEL TURNS. After
lunch visit MANALI TOWN,
walk
around and visit some of the local sightseeing spots. Return to SOLANG.
Dinner and during hot drinks
at
night slide show on WESTERN HIMALAYAS. Overnight in Ski hut.
DAY 6 : AT SOLANG VALLEY
After
breakfast, in the morning session there is lesson on STEM & PARALLEL
TURNS. After lunch session is lesson on
SIDE
SLIP GARLEND & JUMPING. Dinner and hot drinks around the Camp fire
at night. Overnight in Ski hut
DAY 7 : AT SOLANG VALLEY
After
breakfast, Day free for SKIING. Every body can do what they have
learnt in these 6 days under the
watchful
eyes of the instructors. Almost same program in the evening. At night there
is campfire again.
Those,who
are interested can go for trekking on snow to enjoy the wonderful surroundings
of
Solang
Valley. Dinner & Overnight in Ski Resort
DAY 8 : SOLANG VALLEY > MANALI
Morning
after breakfast, transfer to Manali, where you take your own mode of transportation
for
your
onward journey home. OR you can extend your stay & visit Kulu &
surroundings
