New trek route along the Nepali border. A trek through luxuriant rhododendrons, pines, spruces and
giants magnolias forests, then through green meadows and yak pastures, the trek leads us towards west
Sikkim, along the Nepali border. Along Onglakhing glacier moraines and Samity sacred lake, we climb
up to Gocha La pass, highlight of this magnificent itinerary: Savour the breath-taking scenery of Talung glacier
and the impressive east face of the third highest summit in the world, Kanchenjunga (8586 m), surrounded
by Rathong (6679 m), Kabru (7338 m), Talung (7349 m) in the south, and Kirat Chuli (7365 m) and  Pyramid
Peak (7123 m) in the north. The way back is via a recently opened path, going through lush green
jungles overgrown with lianas and orchids. Road journeys will be done by private car/ Jeeps

DAY 01 ARRIVE DELHI 
On arrival you will be met by our representative and transfered to Hotel Qutab. Afternoon half day city tour of
Old & New Delhi. Drive past Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Parliament house & Presidents Palace, visit India Gate,
Qutab Minar & a Modern Hindu temple. Evening free. Dinner & Overnight in Hotel
DAY 02 ARRIVE DELHI > BAGDOGRA > DARJEELING
Morning after breakfast transfer to domestic airport to board flight for Bagdogra. Met Upon arrival and drive to
reach Darjeeling (2134 M) by covering 110 kms in 5 hrs. The route winds its way through Tea Estates & tiny villages.
 Darjeeling is called the Jewel in the Crown. Upon arrival check into Mayfair  hotel for dinner and overnight stay
DAY 03 AT DARJEELING
Morning visit Tiger Hill to see the Sun Rise and also get the best view of Worlds Third Highest Mountain Kanchanjunga
and other peaks. On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery enshrining Maitreyee Buddha. After breakfast proceed for a ride in the
famous Toy Train for half an hour. Visit Botanical gardens, Observatory Hill, Mountaineering Institute to know the history and the
equipment’s used in the first conquest of Mt. Everest by Sir.Edmond Hillery and Tenzing Norge. Visit Zoological parkto see the
Siberian Tigers, Llamas, Himalayan Black Bear and Panda. Visit Tea estates and Tibetan Refugee self-help Center for
Woolen Carpets and Leather products. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 04 DARJEELING > PEMYANGSTE
Morning after breakfast, drive to Pemyangste. A 5 hours drive brings you to one of the oldest and important Monastery in
Sikkim. Visit the Monastery. Balance day free . Overnight in Trekkers Huts or Tents
DAY 05 PEMYANGSTE > UTTAREY
Morning after breakfast, drive 5 hours to Uttarey, a small village located near the Nepali border. On arrival set up camp.
This is the last road head and you begin your trek from tommorrow. Acclimatization & overnight in tents
DAY 06 UTTAREY > CHEWABHANJANG (2680 m)
Morning after breakfast, start trek to the village of Chewabhanjang. A steady 5 to 6 hours climb up as you trek up a good trail
thru Rhododendron forests, towards the international border of Sikkim & Nepal. On arrival set up camp. Dinner & Overnight
DAY 07 CHEWABHANJANG > DHOR (3750 m)
Morning after breakfast, start trek to the tiny hamlet of Dhor. Its today again a steep 6 to 7 hours climb up as you trek up
dense Rhododendron forests, on a trail that clings to the ridge top offering spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks
of Sikkim & Nepal. On arrival set up camp.Balance day at leisure. Dinner & Overnight in tents
DAY 08 DHOR > PAHAREY MEGU (3900 m)
Morning after breakfast, start trek, following the ridge on a good path with many short ascents & decends offering spectacular
vies of the eastern Himalyan ranges. ( 5/6 hrs) On arrival set up camp on open grazing slopes. Dinner & overnight in tents
DAY 09 PAHAREY MEGU > DAPHE PASS (4100 m)
Morning after breakfast, start trek, a steady climb, following the western side of the ridge. The terrain here becomes
more open and the valley widens turning east towards a massive waterfall. Camp just short of the pass on the banks
of a holy lake. (6 hrs) Balance time at leisure. Dinner & overnight in tents
DAY 10 CAMP SITE > DAPHE PASS (4450 m) > GOMATHANG (3750 m)
Morning after breakfast, start trek, Today is one of the most beautiful walks of the trek, as you cross a high mountain pass,
offering spectacular views to the north, of the high mountains of Sikkim, including Kangchenjunga (8585m.), Kabru (7317m.)
and Pandim (6691m.). You follow at first an easy trail which skirts the edge of two lakes, surrounded by prayer flags, then
a steep zig-zag path that climbs to the pass. The walk down to the valley floor follows a good trail across open slopes at
first and then down through the pine and juniper forest. 6/7 hrs). Balance time at leisure. Dinner & overnight in tents
DAY 11 GOMTHANG > PANDING (4200 m) 
Morning after breakfast, start trek, ascending & decending through rhododendron forests. Arrive Yangshep. After lunch
start up a steep path up to Panding. On arrival set up camp. (6 hrs) Balance time free. Dinner & overnight in tents
DAY 12 PANDING > DZONGRI (4020 m) 
Morning after breakfast, start trek, heading towards north east, descending at first to a river and crossing a plank
bridge to start trek uphill towards Dzongri. On arrival set up camp. (5 hrs) Balance time free. Dinner & overnight in tents
DAY 13 DZONGRI > THANSING (3930 m) 
Morning after breakfast, start decend trek, thru rhododendron forest towards Parek river - a glacial marvel.
On arrival set up camp on the grassy pastures of Thansing (4 hrs). The southern ridge of Kanchenjunga & the
Onglakhing glacier are visible firectly ahead with close up views of Mount Padim. Dinner & overnight in tents
DAY 14 TANGSING > SIMITI LAKE (4200 m) 
 Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Simiti lake (4200 M) by covering 8 kms in 3 hrs. A pleasant walk below the
western side of mount Padim, over the Onglakhing glacier, thru dwarf azaleas and rhododendron forests gets you to Zimthang,
from where you trek up hill to the shores of this heavenly lake. (3 hrs) Simiti is one of the high altitude fresh water very sacred
lakes found in the bosom of this mighty Himalayan range and also is the source of the Prek river. Ringed by prayer flags,
the lake reflects the shadow of the Forked Peak, Kabru North, Gocha Peak besides other snow caped massifs.
Arrive and camp by the side of the lake. Dinner and overnight stay in tents
DAY 15 SIMITI LAKE > GOCH A LA (4940 m) > THANSING 
 Morning after early breakfast start trek, as fog & clouds descend on the pass shortly after sunrise. The track to Gocha La Pass
clims steeply through moraines. Arrive on top of the pass to get spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga massif and beyond that
the Talung glacier. (7 hrs) Arrive and camp by the side of the lake. Dinner and overnight stay in tents
DAY 16 THANSING > LAM POKHARI (4230 m) 
 Morning after breakfast start trek, with a steep descent followed by a gradual climb through alpine medows and
tiny lakes (5 hrs) Arrive Lam Pokhari and set up camp. Balance time free. Dinner and overnight stay in tents
DAY 17 LAM POKHARI > KASTURI LA (4500 m) > KASTURI ODAR (3500 m)  
 Morning after breakfast start trek. A steep ascent leads up to the Kasturi La Pass from where a steep descend
through tropical fortests leads you to Kasturi Odar (6 hrs). On arrival set up camp. Dinner and overnight stay in tents
DAY 18 KASTURI ODAR > LABDANG (2000 m)  
 Morning after breakfast start trek thru dense forests of Lianas. Moss & Orchids. A easy pace and not steep downhill trek
bring you to the hamlet of Labdang (6 hrs). On arrival set up camp. Dinner and overnight stay in tents
DAY 19 LABDANG > TASHIDING (1740 m)  
 Morning after breakfast start trek. An easy walk in an atmosphere becoming more humid and heavier as you descend
towards Tashiding (5 hrs). You are back into civilization. The Road head bings from this small village town. 
On arrival set up camp. Dinner and overnight stay in tents
DAY 20 TASHIDING > MARTAM
 Morning after breakfast, visit the Tashiding Monestary, one of the most isolated in Sikkim perched on the top of a
hill set between two rivers. A very pictureous sight indeed. later depart by surface transportation to the town of
Martam. On arrival check into hotel / trekkers hut. Balance day at leisure. Dinner & Overnight
DAY 21 TASHIDING > MARTAM
 Morning after breakfast, depart by surface transportation to the capital city of Sikkim, Gangtok, enroute visiting
Rumtek Monastery, reputed world wide for its religious Tibetan art & crafts. Visitors are welcome to attend prayer.
later on arrival check into hotel. Afternoon free. Dinner & overnight in hotel
DAY 22 AT GANGTOK
Morning after breakfast leave for full day sightseeing of Gangtok visiting theTibetology, Orchid Sanctuary, Do Drul
Monastery, Handicraft center & local bazar. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay in the hotel
DAY 23 GANGTOK > BAGDOGRA > DELHI
 Transfer to Bagdogra airport in time to board light for Delhi. On Arrival transfer to International Airport in time
to board flight for onward destination. You have the option of extending your stay in Delhi and visit Agra & Jaipur
